Limestone House Directors & Trustees are recruiting

Our Volunteer Directors and Trustees are appointed by the current Directors & Trustees and ratified each year by the members at our annual AGM in October.

Our current Chair will be stepping down in 2025, to enjoy her retirement & family commitments, and our current Treasurer has been stretched with work and family commitments so will be stepping down as soon as possible. Both will remain as Directors & Trustees of Limestone House to continue developing this valuable community resources.

We are therefore recruiting a Chair & Treasurer and any interested parties just need to click on the above links to read about the roles & responsibilities, apply for the roles and make the first steps to join this Board.

The current Trustees of Limestone House (the Elmton and Creswell Village Company) are:

Mrs Helen Dayson – Chair
Helen ran a Charity specialising in vulnerable adults in the South of England and joined the Board after retiring to Creswell bringing an enormous amount of experience to the Board

Mrs Denice Smith
Denice has sat on the Board for 10 years helping to shame and grow Limestone and is very active in the day to day running primarily on the till and the first point of contact for most visitors to Limestone.

Mr Stephen Greenwood – Treasurer
Stephen has worked in various commercial roles in catering and business management bringing that experience to the Board

Mr Philip Lomax
Phil has worked in finance for various local business’s, sat on the pension board of a large company and brings a vast experience in business to the Limestone Board.

Mr Carl Sterland
Carl is very active in his local community and brings to the Board a wealth of local knowledge & experience.

Mr Richard Haigh – Secretary
Richard has sat on the Limestone Board since 2016 and provides experience from local volunteering, working within small & large companies & community development.

Mr Mark Bellis – Vice Chair
Mark is a very experienced commercial Manager in the distribution sector having worked all over the uk

Mr Kian Martin – Youth Director
Kian is very active in his local community reffing football matches, stewarding football matches, and sits on a number of community group boards to positively influence local youth matters


Mrs Trish Wake
Trish moved up from London with her husband and found a safe place in Limestone with lots of friends building upto the opportunity to be a Director and should be ratified in October 2025.

Miss Ebony Schofield
Ebony joins the Directors and Trustees with a wealth of experience in disability rights and a keen eye for detail.

Miss Becki Bish
Bex, as she prefers to be called, joins the Directors and Trustee with a wealth of business experience and health and safety.
